Elizabeth Hoy was born in Nashua, NH, and currently lives and works in Providence, RI. She has received fellowships from Le Couvent artist residency, Wave Hill, the Alfred and Trafford Klots International Program for Artists, the AIM program at the Bronx Museum, Maine Farmland Trust, and the Royal College of Art in London. Her work has been exhibited internationally and across the U.S.; including A.I.R. Gallery and Wave Hill both in NY, the Delaware Center for Contemporary Art, and the Center for Maine Contemporary Art. Hoy received a BA from Wesleyan University and an MFA from the University of Pennsylvania. She is the Director of the Beard and Weil Galleries at Wheaton College in Massachusetts.
